Appeal for witnesses to serious RTC – Reading

Hi Resident 

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Reading. 

At around 5.30pm on Friday 30 January, a collision occurred involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at the junction of Highgrove Street and Christchurch Road. 

After the collision, the driver of the vehicle, who is believed to be a woman, stopped to check on the victim, but then fled the scene. 

The pedestrian, a man in his sixties, sustained serious injuries and required hospital treatment but has since been discharged. 

No arrests have been made at this current time.
